Adele Steele has been around and involved in art all of her life. She earned a degree in Education and Art, taught elementary school, middle school, received a Master's degree in School Guidance Counseling and then spent 35 years as a high school counselor in Gwinnet County, Georgia, teaching teens the arts and skills of creating their lives.

Adele is now retired and living in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her husband, James. Adele designs and makes jewelry, fabric art, wall hangings, quilts, scarves, totes, and purses.
