Broderick Crawford was born and raised in the southern Appalachian Mountains in the small town of Tiger, Georgia. Raised by a father and mother who operated a kennel, their love for animals was instilled into Broderick early on. Growing up he was also surraounded with some of the most beautful mountains and landscapes the world has to offer. Deep rooting a love that is beyond words for all nature has to offer.

Since he began painting seriously in 1992, Broderick has produced over 70 limited edition prints, numerous orginals, and commissioned pieces. An avid competitor, he competes in numerous painting competitions. He enters the Federal Duck Stamp Competition every year, and he competes in most states that open their competitions up nationally.

While Broderick is proud of all his accomplishments, his favorite win came this past May when he won the 2010 / 2011 Georgia Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year. Georgia had been commisioning their artwork for years, but decided to go back to a competition. His painting of three Widgeons will be published into a limited edition print series to help raise money for conservation throughout Georgia.
