Karina Keri-Matuszak is one of the few artists in the country that uses copper as a canvas. Her unique paintings glow and change in the light due to the reflective quality of the copper underneath. Her pieces are bold and abstract, and although they take many forms, they all have a rustic quality. Nails and hammer marks are retained and are often worked into a piece's design.
Karina's art has been featured on the set of a national television series (College Hill Atlanta, BET Network). She has been voted "'Best Emerging Visual Artist" by the readers of Creative Loafing (2008). She has an upcoming article in Southern Living Magazine. Her work has been featured in books, magazines, retail outlets, and galleries throughout the country.
