A self-taught artist, Pat is a native of Columbus, GA, a former military “brat”, and has lived all over the world, settling in Clarkesville, GA, in the year 2000. She earned her BS degree in Education from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, and her MS degree in Education from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.  Besides being a former teacher, she has also had careers as a human resources manager with a Fortune 500 company in Atlanta and at Unicoi State Park and Lodge in Helen, GA. She loves her adopted NE Georgia mountains and paints these little pots with scenes that reflect the mountains and their rural life.  Many recipients of these little pots use them as prayer pots and as gratitude pots and will tell you that the power they impart on their lives is real and unmistakable.  Pat is retired and when she’s not painting, she’s spending time in her garden, in the kitchen, or enjoying the company of her 4 dogs.
